The heart behind the lens

Photos are meant to bring us back.

Long after the flowers have wilted, children have grown, and life has quietly moved on, a photograph has the remarkable ability to return us to a feeling we thought we'd forgotten.

That's why I do what I do. Not to create perfect images — but honest ones.

A little about me

Photography has always been less about my camera and more about the way I see the world.

I've always found myself lingering a little longer. Watching conversations unfold. Noticing the glance across the room before anyone else does. The quiet moments have always fascinated me more than the obvious ones.

Today, that curiosity has become the foundation of my work.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me barefoot somewhere outdoors with my husband, our son, and our goldendoodle. We spend as much time as we can hiking, traveling, chasing sunsets, and collecting the kind of ordinary days that somehow become the ones you miss the most.

Motherhood changed the way I photograph in ways I never expected. It taught me that life isn't remembered through milestones alone, but through the thousands of tiny moments in between. A hand reaching for yours. The sound of laughter echoing through the kitchen. A familiar look that says everything without a word.

Those are the memories I find myself reaching for now. So that's what I photograph.
